I am very fond of films by Walt Disney Pictures.
Although the film always takes the old stories, they are very creative
in developing ideas that make people really enjoy their work.
The
film directed by Kenneth Branagh gives a slightly different color to the
previous Cinderella movie, but it does not change the essence of the
story. The story is based on the Disney animated film in 1950, with some
adjustments. In this version, Cinderella and Prince Charming had met
before the dance palace. At that time, the Prince revealed that he was
just an ordinary court officials. Fairy Godmother has a greater role in
this film than the previous film, because she initially disguised as an
old beggar who oversaw Cinderella before finally revealing that she was a
magical creature.
The
film tells the story of Ella, who made her as a servant by his
stepmother. After his father died, her stepmother and stepsisters
behavior became increasingly more and more. Ella who became a servant,
was also renamed to be Cinderella. And then Ella met a handsome stranger
in the woods. She did not realize that the person was a prince. When
the palace sent an open invitation to all the girls, Cinderella was
hoping to meet with the prince again.
This film gives a different
view than the previous one. With a few changes to the story and some
creative ideas. This film has won the hearts of the audience, including
me.
