Paragraph:
Next weekend will be the start of the school holiday. I would like to go to Belitung to visit the beach there. The island has some beautiful beaches with white sand and clear water. I will go to the beach and then swim there. I will also try visiting the small islands nearby by boat. Belitung island also has beautiful lake and forest. I am going to go to the forest and look for the wild animal there. There is a waterfall in the forest which is also worth seeing. I would rather spend my holiday there than just staying in the house.
Terjemahan:
Akhir pekan depan akan menjadi awal dari liburan sekolah. Saya ingin pergi ke Belitung untuk mengunjungi pantai di sana. Pulau ini memiliki beberapa pantai yang indah dengan pasir putih dan air jernih. Saya akan pergi ke pantai dan berenang di sana. Saya juga akan mencoba mengunjungi pulau-pulau kecil terdekat dengan perahu. Pulau Belitung juga memiliki danau dan hutan yang indah. Saya akan pergi ke hutan dan melihat binatang liar di sana. Ada air terjun di hutan yang juga layak untuk dilihat. Saya lebih suka menghabiskan liburan saya di sana daripada hanya tinggal di rumah

Penggunaan So dan Such dalam Bahasa Inggris
Pengertian ‘So’ dan ‘Such’
Dalam bentuk kalimat bahasa Inggris, ‘So’ dan ‘Such’ adalah dua kata yang akan sering ditemukan. Keduanya termasuk ke dalam adverb of degree yang digunakan untuk menekankan kualitas dari seseorang atau sesuatu. Contoh kalimat dalam bahasa Inggris:
‘He has a daughter’ (Dia memiliki seorang putri)
Kalimat tersebut adalah kalimat yang
biasa atau normal, namun jika ditambahkan dengan salah satu diantara
‘So’ atau ‘Such’, maka akan memiliki makna yang berbeda, yaitu:
‘He has such a beautiful girl' (Dia memiliki seorang putri yang sangat cantik).
Kalimat di atas memiliki penekanan
tertentu sehingga memiliki arti yang berbeda. Disitulah fungsi ‘So’ dan
‘Such’ yaitu sebagai penekanan statement di dalam suatu kalimat.
Contoh Kalimat ‘So’
So’ ditempatkan setelah adjective (kata sifat), adverb (kata keterangan) atau noun phrase yang diawali dengan determiner (many, much, few, little). Berikut contoh kalimat ‘So’.
• This company are so creative and active (Perusahaan ini sangat kreatif dan aktif)
• She dances so beautifully (Dia menari dengan sangat cantik)
‘So’ dapat pula diikuti dengan that – clause
• He is so perfect that I never criticize him (Dia sangat sempurna sehingga Saya tidak pernah mengkritiknya
• The thief is so fast that no one can catch him (Pencuri itu sangat cepat sehingga tidak ada seorangpun yang mampu menangkapnya)
Contoh Kalimat ‘Such’
‘Such’ diikuti oleh singular noun (kata benda tunggal) dengan artikel ‘a’ atau plural noun (kata benda jamak). Berikut contoh kalimatnya:
• She carried such a heavy suitcase (Dia membawa sebuah koper yang sangat berat)
• They talked such some hot issues (Mereka membicarakan beberapa isu yang sangat hangat)
Sama halnya dengan ‘So’, ‘Such’ juga dapat diikuti dengan that – clause.
• This is such a big glasses that even my mother can’t wear it (Kacamata ini sangat besar sampai-sampai ibu saya tidak dapat memakainya)
• Andita is such a beautiful girl that almost every boy is interested in her (Andita adalah gadis yang sangat cantik sehingga hampir semua anak laki-laki tertarik padanya)

To express willingness: use will

(?) Will she visit her cousins on the next holiday?
To express a prior plan: Use only be going to
(+) Subject + Be going to + V1 + O/C
(-) Subject + Be not going to + V1 + O/C
(?) Be + Subject + going to + V1 + O/C
(+) She is going to visit her cousins on the next holiday.
(-) She is not going to visit her cousins on the next holiday?

Expressing Intention
Expressing Intention adalah sebuah ekspresi harapan dari seseorang. Berarti expressi ini secara tidak langsung merupakan sebuah kejadian yang belum terjadi karena masih berupa harapan. Tenses yang digunakan adalah tenses future.
